Candy Crush Soda Saga not loading on PC

For weeks now the game is not loading or it will load and it is just for one level and then freeze. I have deleted the app and reloaded a couple of times. I have cleaned my computer and ensured there are no firewalls up. I miss the game and very much enjoy it. I just earned my 5 year badge of playing. What can I do? I have a computer and using win 7. All my other games work incluidng candy crush and candy crush jelly, but not Soda :-(

I followed all of your instructions Sweetice. I checked my apps and deleted apps, and everything in order. The renew app option for the game did not even pop up. I even updated my adobe flash and turned off my computer after download for 15 minutes and still not working.

If your computer is Windows 7 operating system then I wonder how you are playing with app?

My idea is that your computer is Windows 10 operating system.😊However you will find troubleshooting checks of your problem below.

@Bernice_Cintron Heya! And that’s not great you should be able to play the game properly without any problems. I hope the above answers helped you and you are able to play the game without problems occurring.

First the bad news.

• Windows 7 support ended on January 14, 2020. 

However, I still think you can upgrade to Win 10 for free. Not sure, & will have to look at my references.

I myself went from Win 7 Ultimate, to Win 10 Pro, when it was released. Loved Win 7, but once support ends, best to move on.

Hi @Sweetice,

The person above @Bernice_Cintron is the one with the problem. She has a unsupported (OS) Operating System.

Just letting you know:

• Windows 7 support ended on January 14, 2020. 

Is all.

It means, no patches, no security, once support ends for a (OS) Operating System, need to move on to the next one. Or leave yourself open to all kinds of issues.

Thank you all for your responses. Origins 7_Dale you write if one has Win 7 it is impossible to play since January. That is not what happened to me. It began in April and my 5 year old Toshiba computer which I love does not take anything higher than Win 7. I have tried to install win 8 and 10 and even the new Microsoft Office software and will not take above anything from 2017 (Edit by CM: Off-topic) love this game, but do not have the money for a new computer and cannot upgrade. Pity Candy Crush creators did not consider us poor people. Just won't play anymore unfortunately. . Sweetice you write it would leave myself open to all kinds of issues by not upgrading It is fine with me. It is no one's position to decide what issues I can be open to especially if you CANNOT afford to upgrade. (Edit by CM: Rude) . After 5 years of playing I can no longer play?

Hi @Bernice_Cintron It is Microsoft that stopped supporting Windows 7, therefore we cannot guarantee that the games still work on unsupported platforms.

Please also stay in topic. This is not the place to discuss about any of the issues in US. I'm sure you'll find another forum where you can discuss topics that are not related to our games. Thanks for understanding.

I have zero recollection what I wrote. To many glasses of wine and was upset could not play. Insofar as microsoft not supporting certain platforms. Just got a pop up to downlaod microsoft edge for win 7. I think I found a solution thank goodness.

Slow internet, Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.

Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
