I finished the event, only because I was stubborn and wanted to know how this absurdity would end.
I'm not happy about this event. It's tiring: you play, clear dozens of levels and complete the quests but the points or purple drops are never enough. After the first milestone, the event requires ridiculous high goals, tries to sabotage you (and I'm one of the lucky players who has tons of new levels available ahead) and then doesn't even reward you properly for the efforts made.
for 100 milestone I received 15 min of unlimited lives and 15 min of unlimited fish which I deem acceptable because reaching 100 with 3 active quests is doable.
for 200 milestone I received 15 min of unlimited striped candies and 2 gold bars. Acceptable reward, I guess, but at this point I could work with only 2 active quests. this because the event asked me for a gumball twice with only 1 "normal" task in between . Like, doesn't the game know you get to have a gumball every 48 hours? why does it ask me for a second one after I submitted one already. Does it really expect me to pay 40 gold bars for just 10 points/drops?
For 400 milestone I received 15 minutes of unlimited lives and 3 wrapped candies. What a meagre reward for hard earned 400 points with only 2 active quests. 2 active quests for 2 days, which is almost the remaining duration of the event and time for a gumball recharge.
600 milestone: I was able to finally complete that gumball quest only to have a normal task and then another gumball request after. Seriously, again? How can I not think the event tries to make me fail? What's the deal with the fixation with "Essential" Supplies? So here we go again with having only 2 active quests. (When I just finished collecting Yeti's golden tickets, Rebuild Raffle appeared as if to mock me. But luckily clearing new hard levels was valid just the same. Finally some mercy in this agony.) The reward for this last milestone was the disappointing amount of 1 lollipop hammer and 3 gold bars. Well, it's pretty disproportionate, to say the least.
Final consideration: I don't think Kimmy and Yeti really want to build Candy Town if they're okay with workers mistreated and underpaid.
What I think it would be better to do:
diversify the quests: I had the same 4-5 types in rotation. What about collecting stars, creating fish, color bombs, striped candies, improving a score, finishing a level with a couple of moves left, clearing (hard) levels, completing a Toffee fair task , collecting candies of whatever color, completing bottles/frosting/rescue bears levels etc ...
allow to skip/change one task at least once every 12 hours
remove Essential Supplies/gumballs from the event. They just kill the fun because the event always fails to consider how they work
make the prizes proportionate to the difficulty and time spent in this tiring event. I would have expected at least 20 gold bars, not 5.
increase the value of the tasks or decrease the value of the milestones. This event drags way too much, considering you don't get much in return.

Well, I'm kinda disappointed too.... I couldnt even reach the second part, being stuck on difficult levels for far too long, missing the keys, missing winning races and not even talking about winning a level with 3 stars.... oh well, I suppose this is very similar to BGH........ only some are destined to win anything
Haha the only difference is some players still look forward to getting BGH, i wonder who would want this feature with so much more effort and a mere reward at end of the week if they even get lucky enough to complete it ! I wouldn't try for more than 2 puzzle pieces in a week!

It is not the missions that are difficult to complete, the problem is the points we earn. There are very few, 15, 20 or 30. It should be bigger, like 50, 100. It is practically impossible to score 600 points !. I could not.

I tried to play the game with conditions that are absolutely impossible to fulfill if you play at maximum levels.
