It's the tasks you complete on Mr Toffee's Fair - I've completed three tasks so far, but none have been applied, therefore we can't get our rewards and open a new board

Hello @JanHughes Welcome to the Community.
I am sorry you have this issue with mr Toffee. It seems like more players have this problem so we already reported it to our CM. Let’s wait for some information about this. BTW you have to make the orders by yourself, otherwise it doesn’t count and it won’t be add. Also, if you have BubbleGum Hill and you are making the tasks there, they won’t add either.

That's really sad @JanHughes but there have been several players having issues where the tasks completed aren't getting registered for different features. We'l have to wait for the studio to fix this for us.

Just wondering if there's any way to contact the studio direct, like you do in Bingo Blitz?

Go to setting in your game app>Help centre>Privacy & terms>Contact us

Here's something that has been happening to Me in MRT too: I complete 2 Tiles (1-3) but my Tiles are NOT in the winning Row, but I have been losing out on the Rewards. I completed Tiles shouldn't I get Rewards?

Few other people have reported the same for mr. Toffee event but unfortunately community can not have any access to your data so we cant help you in missing rewards. The only option you have is to contact player support directly from the settings of your game application.
