I'm sorry something went wrong. if the event recognized 2 completed challenges instead of 3, the incomplete challenge could have been one of the first 2 too. Maybe the task about hard levels didn't accept super hard levels. Just a theory.
An error might have happened in your game though, please contact customer care directly from your game: open app - click blue cogwheel - click "?" - search for "event and challenges" - scroll down and click "contact us". Fill the form, explain your problem and then send. Hopefully you can get the missing gold bars back ๐
