Game froze after I purchased gold to continue level

I purchased gold to continue playing level. and I got an error on the screen that says "you have experienced an error that we are working hard to fix, please try again in a moment. Has been happening a lot lately, but this time I'm ticked because I purchased gold to continue the level. It's Candy Crush Soda Saga, hard level 1740, I only needed 1 more move to complete the level, it used my gold then froze. I'd like to have my gold returned please.
