@corals22 Hi and welcome, Windows 7 is no longer supported by the browsers now and really you would need to upgrade you computer to win 10. this can still be done for free if your computer is compatible. Only other chance maybe to try another browser or the king.com/ games site

Hello, I have an issue with CCSS today on FB, it looks like it's about to fully download, yet all I see is greyish screen and I hear the music, but nothing happens. I noticed some download issues for the past few days, all of them on FB. I do not have an internet connection problem as I am using the same wifi signal on my mobile device and everything works perfectly. I also do not have any issues with the laptop that I am using. I have cleared all the caches and cookies and I am using Google Chrome on Win 7.
Also, while I am here, is there any chance that people playing on FB will have the same conditions as when playing on an app? The FB version gets poorer by day, and some of us do prefer the bigger screen!

thanks all for concern , however as previously posted have re started computer after clearing cache , checking for updates and re installing , not only from Microsoft but also via google play store, . It allowed me to play '' game '' one [ this is google download ] , and start to log in to account and then froze, with the Microsoft download it ''played '' for about 3 seconds before freezing, So , as I see it the only option left now is to switch off router overnight and see if that works ,I'm using desktop with Microsoft edge. This is about the fourth time in as many years that I've had to re install candy crush. I'm thinking it doesn't like me π

Have you previously saved the game on Facebook or Kingdom?
Also, whenever you reinstall the game app, it will be the latest version.

Check you windows is up to date and check Microsoft store for update if playing via the windows 10 app. if Browser clear the browser cache entirely. log out and restart your device, then log back in and see if this resolves your issue
so , i had an e - mail to congratulate me on 3000 th game, on game 3002 screen freezes after a couple of seconds, re installed game, there have been no updates on computer, cleared cache, used windows recovery and still no joy, any help would be welcome

The problem seems to keep coming back, slow and un responsive, always trying to catch up. I think the " Secret Sweetheart" game has something bro do with it. Very frustrating.
It will still not work on desktop computer when downloading the game from the Microsoft Store, this issue started a few weeks ago I uninstalled it and decided to try again while ago. It is still just flashing a black screen and will not open to play.

We were told that the latest app update has the fix for this problem. However, from what other players reported, it's also important to download updated files for Windows in order to stop the crashing.

Windows operating system needs to have updated tools to be able to deploy applications. Checking if they're updated might help you solve this issue.
If you visit your Windows settings and search for infos about your device, what does the panel about Windows details say? What edition and version do you have?
Based on that info we might be able to tell which link on the microsoft.com page I shared above you should click to install the latest update for your Windows device
