Why won't Candy Crush Soda Saga connect to the internet

I haven’t been able to get a connection to the internet for days on the Candy Crush Soda Saga on my desktop pc. I can play the game but can't get any prizes or buy any gold bars

    Hello @Chrysi @lonli79 and @FreshBoy01 and a warm welcome to our lovely and helpful Community to each of you.

    I play on mobile and am not experiencing any issues.

    First check that your internet provider isn’t having issues or that your WiFi signal is strong.

    Second clear the cache/history in your browser / Force close all apps running / Power down / When you log back onto your PC make sure to check for any game app updates and install those first before signing back into your game.

    @Nix66, c'mon, I did everything you wrote yesterday. Still can't log in by email nor by FB. My team is gone, Toffee Fair froze, can't buy gold bars, Bear Brawl gone etc.

    Hi @lonli79 Just so you know in order for anyone to receive a tag from you here in the Community you have to ensure the name is selected from the drop down list and that it activates in bold print.

    I just happened to check back over here and see your message. (Did not receive a notification.)

    I know of no issues currently occurring or I would gladly pass on the information to you.

    Let me tag the other Soda Moderators and perhaps @Origins7_Dale or @Yosca will have a better answer for you.

    I will address each one, because you have different issues here.


    *For @Chrysi & @lonli79 *Since you say you can play, but can't collect prizes or buy gold bars. Then you have a *Intermittent Signal problem. Might be on our end, but have you contacted your *ISP to see if there are *Outages in your area? Did you power down your *Gateway / Modem? Always, troubleshoot at your end first, once that is done. Then can contact King Support thru your game.


    *For @FreshBoy01 *A Froze Up Game, doesn't necessarily mean a internet connection issue. May have corrupted your game files, or something on your PC, might have froze it. Again, contact your *ISP to see what is going on with them first. Then do your troubleshooting steps. Once you have done that, then again, can contact King Support thru your game.

    I will give you a *Post on some *Commands you can run to help you out.

    I've done everyting you all recommended but it's still not getting the internet. I downloaded my Candy Crush Soda Saga from Microsoft store, don't know if that makes any difference?

    If I delete the program then reinstal it will I lose everything I've gained? I am getting sooo frustrated with this problem but I don't want to lose what I've won plus what I've bought.

    Hi again @Chrysi If you uninstall and then reinstall ... your game progress and gold bars would remain in your game provided you have saved your progress through King.com or Facebook. Typically ALL boosters will be lost.

    Dale suggested that you contact Player Support. To do this Open your Game / Select the gear wheel icon / Select the “?” / Scroll down and select Technical and Connection Issues / Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Contact Us.

    Hi,

    I tried to do what you said but as the game has no internet connection I can't get through to Player Support. It looks like I have no choice but to delete the game and start again losing everything. The next one I download won't be from Microsoft I can assure you. I think I'll go with Facebook, Thank you for all the help.

    I rebooted my PC and wifi modem, I cleared cache. Everything works fine EXCEPT CCSS. Still "no internet connection" when I enter my game. So this problem is clearly at your end, you just can't or won't fix it. I can't reset or uninstall CCSS app because I played without loging in and I would lost everything (lvl 3058). I'm very glad that I didn't put any real money in this game, only my time and progress will be lost. Very disappointed.

    I am the same as you lonli79, did everything I was advised to do, still no connection. I still haven't deleted the program I just keep thinking about the money I've spent (quite a bit) and will lose it all. To say I'm disappointed is an underatatement.

    Yeah, spending money you would think you get help when you need it, and you would be taken serious. I also haven't deleted my game.
