Missing gold

I recently played the the "Bake a Cake". I was on the last tier, after how many attempts of it...I decided to use 10gold to carry on, as it took my 10 gold, it completely froze and was in game, and wouldn't allow me to make any of my extra 5moves to complete it.

So basically, the game took my gold and I wasn't able to carry on. So I closed the game, went back into it...and went to "Bake a Cake" and it showed the below.

It's def not an internet connection, as everything else, that is connected to my internet, is working fine.
