Bigger homing blast for Fish + Wrapped Candy combo

As a current Candy Crush Friends player I'd like the fish + wrapped candy combo in Soda produce a bigger blast as they do in CC:Friends Saga. Wrapped candies explode twice, so why do we lose the second blast when combined with the fish ?

If you're not a CC:Friends player, the blast there is like when two wrapped candies are combined, but there is only one blast, not twice.
