Freezing/lag issue with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1

Hello,

Does anyone also have issie with this SOC (snapdragon 8+ Gen1)?

I have freezing/lag issue when play the game.

Especialy when i have more combos or finish the level with a few steps left. The freezing/lag issue is the worst then.

My phone is the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

    Did you always experience this issue on this device ?

    When did this start?

    In the meantime I suggest troubleshooting steps to see if they help:

    • check for Soda and device updates
    • check that your device has at least 2 GB of free storage
    • provided you have a King account to save your progress try to log out- close game - clear cache* - restart device - open game - log in and pass any level to make sure you reconnected to the server
    • you might need to repeat the steps above 3-4 times

    *If you own Android mobile, visit device Settings - Apps - Candy Crush Soda Saga - Storage - Clear Cache. Be careful not to click "clear data" which deletes your boosters

    Hello,

    Yes i had this issue from the start. It is new phone and it started from the start.

    I even tried a factory reset and then i only installed candy crush soda saga and still the same issue.

    Like i said it is a new phone so storage is not an issue although it has 256GB of storage and 8GB of memory.

    I installed to the app from the play store so it was the latest version (no updates available)

    On my old phone (Samsung S20+) i did not have this issue.

    it is difficult to believe that i am the only one that has this issue although the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 is a very new SOC (System on a Chip). So i guess it is not the widely user yet.

    thanks for the infos. I'm afraid this is the first report I see about this particular device.

    I'll pass this on to community manager to see if we can find out what's going on 🙂

    Would you mind giving the model number of your device Xiaomi 12T Pro.? It might help.

    In device settings/about phone you should read something like Model number - SM-A202F

    Also what is your user ID number associated to your gaming account? You should be able to find this number when you launch Soda app - visit profile settings - tap twice on King logo that you see at the top. The logo will be replaced by a number. More infos here
