Christmas gifts! (Off- topic and just for fun)
Now its the most wonderful time of the year (ding dong) sorry, Christmas songs in my head!
Now for whatever reason you celebrate Christmas, we all have gifting in common. Whether you gift others or you receive gifts, its always a fun part.
So tell me about your gifts! Share some fun stories, sentimental or just plain wicked.
I will start with myself!
I love gifting. I like buying things I know people will like so for instance, Mr Slayer has some lego star wars and some star wars figures that talk. Because toys are for all ages and he has a special shelf for all his toys that we don't get to touch. If the kids are really unlucky, they have the joy of him looking after their collectable figures which of course, they refuse if they want to see them again.
My favourite gifts last year was a family photo on my grandaughters birthday. Its very rare to get all the family together in the best of times.
My sons favourite way of gifting is to wrap sellotape around every square millimetre of paper and watch people struggle to get into it.
So come on, spill the beans.

Super cool and fun thread @Chicken_Slayer!
Here in Spain we also have what we call "Invisible Friend" which is "Secret Santa" in other countries.
Last year I got a cap of Arale from Dr Slump cartoon. Super fun and brought me cool ( and nerdy) memories of a very little LadyRaffie ☺️

@Nix66 haha that sounds like something my kids would do too!
My youngest son hates wrapping. He is 18 and hasn't mastered it yet. He ran out of paper half way thru his sisters, couldn't be bothered to get up and get more from 3 steps across the room, so grabbed birthday paper and half wrapped it in that instead.
His paper skills would make anyone cry and he admits it. he tends to just fold over the ends and cover it in tape and prays it holds 🤣

Well @Chicken_Slayer in my family I have been the one to pull the prank gift . One year my children wanted bicycles but didn't want to put on their letter to Santa because they want to choice style and color. We took them to the store so they could pick them out. They came boxed we got home they wanted to take them out of box put them together. So I put a Christmas bow placed them next to tree🎄. My daughter 6 and son 8 years old at the time complained that they wanted boxes wrapped not the bicycles under tree. So when they went to sleep I wrapped the boxes and hid the bicycles I will let you image how my kids reacted😃.Happy Holidays🎄

I love to glue the wrapping paper tight against the packaging material and put lots of tape on it.... it could just as well be a plastic wrap by the time I'm done with it.... That is for my daughter.... she is so impatient and hates struggling to get the wrapping off to see the gift. I love how she always looks at me and roll her eyes when she gets her gift from Mum. ha ha.
Other than that, I'm pretty boring with gifts, but try to be practical in my giving.
