Chat edited said I used a bad word
Level 3
I can't believe it. My chat was taken because it said that I used a bad word. No I didn't. I don't cuss online. Too many children around. Doh.
I was chatting to my teammates and I said.....
"woo hoo, way to go team-mates". That was all I said. There is no cuss word or bad word there. I'm an adult and I respect others rights, I didn't do anything wrong. I double checked my spelling like I do all the time. If shouting woo hoo for our team is bad then you better start taking books out of schools because they have bad words in them. Just saying. There's my rant for the year. Go pop a balloon I'm busy trying to have fun. Wooooo hoooo

Thanks @Marriam1 😍
Hi @towerjack1960 My guess is that your opponent probably reported so player support has removed the feature from your game. I'm not sure though but you should contact player support about this.
Go to the game's Start Menu, then Settings - Help Center - Contact us and send them an email.
Thanks!

Hi all
Okay I'm sorry, I worded it wrong. It didn't take away my ability to chat, it took away my post and told me I said a bad word. I think I can still chat. It just didn't seem right because I didn't say anything bad, or anything that can be construed as bad. Sorry for the mix up. I guess I didn't proof read very good LoL

Ohh okay, actually i've read a few players complain that if they use the chat feature using translation they had some issues where some words were quoted wrong and hence it said that it was a bad word. Are you using a translator too??
I'l tag @Pitty_Kitty @Origins7_Dale since they had an experience with this earlier.

I think you've experienced a bug in the chat which is still a feature being tested; to me this happens quite a lot on soda app on my android mobile, especially. I never use a translator. If write the same thing on the chat of w10 app, it gets approved, so I ended up using that most of the time. What device do you play on?

Hi @Pitty_Kitty
I'm using an android LG Journey with the Soda app. It's gotta be a bug because I know "woo hoo, way to go team mates" has no bad words in it LoL. I guess if it's already known about there isn't much to do about it but I don't want to get in trouble or kicked off the game over something beyond my control. There's more bad words in a book at the schools libraries than what comes out of me online. I'm having too much fun to think of bad words, especially knowing there are children online. I have 2 daughters now grown up and almost done with high school. So bad words are onull and void LoL.
If I knew the programming code and algorhythms I could probably find whats causing the bug, I learned programming when the dinosours filled a whole room and we worked on workstations, just after the reel and tape era <smiles, I'm not old, just well seasoned!>.
Ok maybe they will fix that eventually, but there's a lot to AI nowadays, it has a mind of her own.
Cheers
Eddie
