Game glitchy when I get big booms

I played CCSS on my old phone - a Samsung J7 Sky Pro - with no issues at all. I had to upgrade my phone due to a dying battery and now have a Moto G Power and CCSS plays like crap. :( If I get any booms or cascades of explosions, the audio AND video of the game both glitch. I have googled and tried every solution I can find so far. Any help or suggestions would be great! I love my game and hate not being able to play on what is supposed to be a "better" phone (specs wise at least). Thanks in advance!
