Why is Mr. Toffee's Fair suddenly forced?

what do you mean you're being forced into it, exactly? I have "4 in a row" now and I tried it but
aside the graphics change I haven't seen any other difference from Mr Toffee Fair🤔..I haven't encountered a similar issue

Sweet Love HahaIt showed up upon my opening the app and after clicking through the stuff (since I already know how to play and getting a reward from my last Mr Toffee's Fair session), it wouldn't let me exit back to the app in a conventional way (there was no X icon in the screen), forcing me to close the app and put it in Airplane Mode just to play normally without being forced into choosing a slot.
Kimmy's Arcade did it right if you ask me, where a prompt shows up and you're allowed to choose (which is why I like the old version of Mr. Toffee's Fair since it was the same as the arcade before the update only with better rewards from what I've heard about Kimmy's Arcade having 5 minute boosters).

that is certainly odd and I'm pretty sure it's some sort of bug because I do have the exit X both on w10 app and android app.
would you please check if troubleshooting solves it?
Check if your device and app are updated. If you see the option of logging out in your profile settings, please try to log out from your King/Fb account - close app - clear cache of Soda app for Android or Safari for iOS (please do not opt for "clear data" if you see it as it deletes your boosters) - power off your device for a couple of minutes and turn it on - open game - log in - pass any level if you can, to make sure your game is connected to the server
If troubleshooting doesn't help, then maybe other players are affected by this and I'd like to gather more info, if you don't mind 😀

1 · Helpful Woah! Sweet 1Love HahaThe difference is that, on Mr T, tick a tile anywhere and you get a prize when a line is completed. With 4 in a row, you have to have ticked a tile on that line to get the prize.

1 · Helpful Woah! Sweet 1Love HahaAm playing with Facebook and the rest of the app seems to be functioning normally aside from no X on the 4 In A Row. I know it's connected to the server and up to date because the Noble Path came back and I also got my daily streak item for today.
Playing on an Amazon Fire Tablet and every other Candy Crush app behaves normally. Game pretty much mandates Airplane Mode to get to the map normally with this bug.
