It looks like you have the same Windows version you had in your past comment. Unfortunately it seems the game features are not performing well under these conditions.
Microsoft site reports that version 1909 has reached the end of servicing on May 11, 2021. It may be possible you can't update Windows to the most recent version. I suggest you contact computer tech support and /or Microsoft support to better handle this. 🙂

I see that, however, but why is this affecting just this King game all the others work fine, and soda was working the day before all my friends were there and, on my laptop, I have windows 11 and none of my friends show up on it? I don't understand why all the other games work fine just this one ................. tried everything to update HOW can I fix this issue😡

I'm not sure, but that seemed the remaining conclusion. From developers side, your friends list is blank but they say you should be able to ask for and receive invites to rebuild your friend list.
At this point since you play Windows 10 and also have access to windows 11 I recommend to change platform and leave Facebook site.
You should be able to download Soda app from Microsoft Store, log in to your account and use Social Hub feature that is available on the app.
With Social hub you can send invites to random players you meet in events but also "outsiders" players by sharing a personal link with them
I have Soda app installed on my laptop and it's easy to add random players from events

I'm sorry to hear about this.
Did you try play 3-4 levels ( old levels are fine too) to see if Social Hub pops up? I usually see it appear way later after I clear cache or update the app
If it doesn't, it's usually possible some feautures are yet to be available in some players game (more infos here). We know the developers spread out features and events across millions of soda players to keep the game balanced. There are some players who don't have team feature yet for the same reason.
