⚠️ Ongoing issue: Bake a Cake - the game freezes after I collect my prize

We're currently having an issue with Bake a Cake where the game freezes when you try to collect your reward. The Soda game studio is hard at work trying to solve this, so please check this discussion for any updates around the issue.

Since we're seeing a lot of different discussions about this, I have decided to merge them all here so that we can easier keep track of your reports - and you can see any updates we post.

Hello @lildclark you don’t have to contact Player Support. They already know and say they’re working on a solution. I hope it will be there soon.

I am having the same message in a red border, saying I cannot release my team mates until I am connected but the game is connected. It will not allow me to use my lives to bake a cake. How long do they take to fix the problem.

Same issue here. Passed a level in cake and it is stuck in “connection issue” Hopefully, something will be done. Last time I tried getting help from CCS team I had to send six emails and they did nothing

Same "Connection Issue" message for me after baking a slice. Neither restarting game, nor restarting Windows fixes it. Can't even open the cake feature -- just get that message. Doesn't seem a "connection" problem as other parts of the game work. In my case, there is no Chat message about the slice I baked.

Same problem . I bake a piece of cake , probably using valuable boosters in the process , then don’t get credited with the completion but instead the sign saying the connection is broken and we are working to fix it . I am playing on chrome / iPhone 11 Pro Max . If you know it isn’t working it would be awfully nice if you would fix it, or at minimum, inform about the problem before wasting a booster. Seems to me that Candy Crush is really on a downward spiral . Are your support team volunteers? Hope so , because they are not earning any kind of salary!

I have recently baked a piece of cake. It says that there is a problem connecting and are working on it..It has been a couple hours and still not working. I can not move ahead to bake another piece of cake. I am online and the main part of the game is working. I want to get the credits for the levels completed which I am sure , by now, are being completed The whole cake may be done, but I can’t get to it or the prized for completed levels! Very frustrating
