There seems to be an issue which is unfortunately affecting the game app! Rest assured however, the game team is aware of this and working as hard as they can to solve this but we don't have a timeframe for a fix just yet.

@Dawnie66 The last resort is always reinstalling the game but it will lead to losing all the boosters. If you don't mind losing the boosters, you can reinstall the game. Your progress can be restored if you were previously connected with a King or a Facebook account.0

I have done this as well, did not resolve the problem and lost all my boosts
