Barbara, you can't do anything with 3. If you get 10, you may buy lives (poor choice) or boosters (better). You may buy extra moves too, 10 again.
10 is the lowest number you may use, I think.
I deplore what they did with the quests, we used to get free boosters, that is finished for now.
