"No internet connection" error message - (PC not Mobile!)

I'm playing on a HP laptop not through facebook and game says to connect to the internet, I have checked and I have no internet connection problems. Not sure what to do now, Any suggestions?

Same problem here for months. None of the suggested “fixes” work. Only thing I haven’t done is delete app. But, then I’ll lose everything including achieved level progress. I won’t do that. I will delete and never spend money on a king app again however! Over it and no help from support!
