I have this same issue. I love Soda Saga but may just have to try another game now as changing to to start with exactly the sane board every time has ruined the game.

I’ve noticed these past few weeks that the candy follows a set pattern. I hate this. I preferred the random drop/layout of candy. I’m currently on level 2851 and I find this new development ruining my game play.
My boosters now sit in the same spot every single time. Even with a 2hr booster!
My candy layout is the same every time and throughout the game. I can make the same move consequently 30 moves in a row.
Soda is my favourite but if this continues I’ll be deleting this app and playing other games....

Yes. They make it a fixed layout ... isn’t it better that u keep trying the same layout ?

It seems to me to be a fault. A workaround is to close and reopen the game which usually gives a new layout.

Thanks Lola but my app was updated April 6th which is roughly when my game changed to a set layout.
I have no new updates pending

No Stan, I’ve played for a few years and definitely prefer the old random layout.
A set layout makes the board rigged. Today I’ve had 3 boosters appear on a location that makes them completely unusable.

That doesn’t seem to help me. Besides, when I have 30 min of unlimited lives I don’t wish to waste half trying to reset the board :(
