I can't receive my awards.. Like play board and weekly race awards..

When playing in the past and I would lose a level, restarting the game pieces would be shuffled. Now when I lose and play again the game pieces are in the same spots, even the free booster. To get a new level I have to close the game completely and restart the whole game. What's up with this glitch?
