Where can I download a copy of Candy Crush Soda Saga that does NOT give me a black screen?
I run CCSS as a stand-alone game on Windows 10 Pro. I downloaded it from Microsoft Store. All I get is a black screen with just a few items (such as scores) showing (See pic). I have done the obvious: Uninstalled & Reinstalled. Cleared cache. Checked Flash Player etc. I have used this game for about three years with no problems before this. Anyone have any ideas please? 0

I hate to say it but the problem is on your system. Probably some extension being blocked by an Antivirus, maleware detector, firewall, add blocker or just windows.
Here is how to fix windows. The other ones you can play with shutting down one by one. If you can open the event long and find the error it throws when you do it will also help.

Thanks very much for your suggestions. I have tried these and turned off everything in Panda and Windows. Unfortunately, no change. CCSS has worked previously and other games work perfectly. Also, when I play directly from King.com, it keeps saying that it could not find Flash Player. I click the relevant download and it works. However, I do have the latest Adobe Flash Player on my pc.0

Flash is built into windows 10 so you don’t need it installed. This is worth a gander.
