I too would like to be able to purchase flowers. Some players forget that they can play 2 flowers; which leaves other players in a lurch. Having the ability to wake up the tree without anyone else’s help is great. It eliminates the need of waiting 24 hours to play the 1 or 2 flowers left behind.
