Hi Denise, On PC it´s 1550 now. Normally the game is a bit ahead there as they need to adapt new levels to the different systems (iOS, Android, Windows, Kindle, etc) available on the market. Then those updates need to be approved by the system´s Store (iTunes, Google Play, etc). I think that´s why patience can be required.

Does this only happen in the game on Facebook or also on www.king.com? I´d first try clearing cache on your PC. Restart your PC too. What browser are you using? I´d go for Google Chrome. Keep other programs and tabs closed before and while playing. How do you get on?
