Can you let us have your player ID so the farm manager can look into it for you? Just in case you should be getting them but are not as there is a possible issue.

As @marry123 said, you can try and win the episode race and that will give you some bars, sometimes the game will have special events like the 1,2,3 grow cropsie where you earn bars too and if you keep an eye in the contest area in the community, you have a chance to win bars as well.
