So you were able to do that before?! I've tried numerous times in most of their games with no luck, always stops whatever is running in the background for me so just thought it wasn't set up for it. Would be great if I could choose my own music!

It's not a bug, levels get revised sometimes so the best thing to do is check the wiki page to confirm if you're seeing something different in a video: http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Level_1963

Should be out for PC and iOS but appears not to be out for Android and Kindle yet.

Since Kindles are not as popular as Android and iOS, they tend to receive new level updates later as the new levels eventually get converted for it.

I'm not a big fan of timed levels either but I honestly doubt that that's their intention.

Ah ok, as far as I know you only need to log in everyday to stop the calendar from resetting. If you've been playing each day it might be an idea to disconnect and reconnect to FB just to reset the connection.
