Seems to be some Facebook connection issues going on at the moment and since these event's are linked to being connected to them. If the troubleshooting you've done hasn't change anything then I'd say it's related and not much we can do at this point.

What device do you have? Might also be an idea to check how much available memory you have left on it too.

Check your connection to Facebook or Kingdom in your game, without being connected you won't have access to that feature. If it already looks connected then try disconnecting, closing the game, reopen and sign in again.

How did you manage to collect 300 Boosters in 2 weeks?! You might want to have a read of this: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/boosters-messages-842482091 They will only replace items which have been purchased.

Technically when you play the game from Facebook, you are already automatically playing the latest update of the game as it's not installed on your computer, it just runs from a browser. Since it's not installed it doesn't need to update anything.

As long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and synced to it. If you did, when you reconnect to that account in the game again, the progress from the point where it was last synced will come up.
