Temporary Power-ups

It would be great if there were power ups like in the classic Crash: Double jump, wider top to take multiple boxes together. It would also be nice to see the return of the armored boxes, which perhaps must be destroyed with the enhanced belly. Of course, the upgrades have to be temporary, what do you think?
