My Favourite Glitch
By far, this is my favourite glitch in this game and I am always happy when I can pull it off. It involves tricking the game into thinking your default model has a berry in its hand so when you throw it, one shoots in front of you but it also stays in your hand and you cant get rid of it. Now you are free to run, spin, slide and ground pound with a berry permanently in your hand.
Note that there is no way to correct this until you finish a level or die but the glitch has no impairment or bad side effects (despite it making me feel like my spin attack does more damage 🏋️♂️🏋️♀️)
So to spread the enjoyment I get from this I thought I would tell people how they can replicate it.
STEP 1: Enter a level where you can encounter two berrys in a row without having to use one to overcome an obstacle. As far as I know this glitch can be done in any mode (survival runs, time trials, collection runs, gem runs, and challenge runs) but it is a bit harder to pull off at higher speeds so I recommend either the Lost City gem run or very early in a collection run.
STEP 2: Collect a berry.
STEP 3: Throw your held berry a split second before you collect the second berry (can be quite hard to do correctly to perform the glitch).
STEP 4: Now when you throw the second berry or any other berry you may collect, a berry will be left in your hand while throwing a berry in front of you. Enjoy 😊
Note that you can tell if you actually have a berry in your hand you can use by your run cycle animation. If you are holding a berry up like what normally happens when you have a berry then you have one that you can use, but if you are running the normal run cycle while swinging your arms with a berry in your hand you do NOT have a usable berry and if you tap the screen you will spin instead.
Also feel free to add in the comments any glitches which you enjoy and picture of you pulling them off, like I heard about the double Aku-Aku glitch (maybe we can have some positivity around glitches in the face of some more frustrating ones we might experience).
