Purple Crystals Crate

Create a new type of crate, with purple crystal drawn on it. In each collection run, 3 of those crate are generated daily somewhere in each level, they can be in underground section, ground or in altitude. This would be a nice way to earn crystals daily, pushing to do an effort of searching everywhere in the levels. And more reasons to play materials runs.

Oh yes, this is good. Really good.

I usually skip routes (or repeated Laps) if they don't carry many Materials, but this would be a good way of making me check everything thoroughly.

I believe that would be too many crystals... but maybe to make like one random map each day to have 3 crystal crates hidden that would be really interesting and balanced

This world be great! They could replace crates with the daily gem challenge thing. I hate it, plus gems dont do anything and i have to repeat level time and time again.. stupid

That would be awesome -- having them appear randomly on various levels. You would always be keeping an eye out for them, which would make collection runs more interesting.

As an alternative to crates, there could be an actual crystal hanging in the air (somewhere non-trivial to reach). To increase the tension it might only be there once -- not each lap -- with a 5 second warning that it is about to appear (a flashing crystal in the corner).
