    Yeah, I don't know why it says that; I definitely collected enough flame orbs to make more than 1 cinder egg, and more than enough chill berries to make a few snow eggs too xD and it looks like that's an issue with many other players as well, I'm not the only one with a ton of items but not the accurate amount of weapons available to be crafted 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Seeing such a seemingly simple feature not work correctly makes me fear their ability to fix other game-breaking bugs like the survival run crash issue. 😥

    Seeing /experiencing all those not fixed game breaking bugs, random features...makes me wonder if it's a matter of ability at all... 🤔 Something that's wrong from players point of view doesn't necessarily have to be wrong from their angle. What's in it for them if they leave "few broken" things in the game: most of us won't stop playing, will try everything to pass through the obstacles, keep competing, discussing, complaining, hoping to be heard, that something will be changed with some 1.something update.. maybe it's just win win situation for them 🙃🤐

    Maybe they just aren't paid enough for the amount of work they already do, so have a "f it" mentality 🤷🏻‍♀️ I probably would as well; when you need to prioritize anything that truly affects the end result, you focus on that and then if you have time you fix the minor issues. And when you're not paid enough for your hard work, you aren't motivated to work harder, so you don't hurry with the major issues. Given this is FTP, how much money do you think make its way down to the tech team?

    Popular games like this generates huge revenues from being downloaded from stores and from any kind of other royalty.

    Plus the microtransations incomes, which are even bigger.

    If someone involved in the Crash project was underpaid, it would be hilarious.

    Nope, people being underpaid is definitely not funny.

    Ever wondered why Rich People are Rich? Definitely not because they share their wealth with their Workers.

    If you think someone makes big money just because they work for a big Company, you got it all wrong.

    You can't be rich without tricking other people... Either by not paying your workers enough, selling something for WAY MORE than it's worth or avoiding Taxes... Any combination of those will do, even all at once.

    Only a few select people will profit from the huge money Crash generates and definitely not the devs who work on the games.

    This is the same mentality as "oh, this band has a few hit songs, they must be rich!" But then they actually only make like 0.10$ when the songs get streamed/bought and played 1 000 000 times, because the manager, the label, the record studio all take their cut first, then the musicians get whatever is left, AND they need to divide that small amount between band members. And the labels often take at least 50% of the original sum.

    So yeah, the tech team at a big company is responsible for making the game run smoothly and beautifully (like a musician is responsible to make good music), but the revenue generated by the game goes to the company first, and they're probably last in the financial totem pole just like the musicians are. And I'm not saying they're being underpaid, or only paid minimum wage, but simply that they're probably not being paid enough to incentivise them to do more work in less time. Often, people paid by the hour at a lower wage will deliberately work slower, because it's not worth the extra stress and mental health issues to try and rush. People with a higher wage tend to have a higher wage because they're essentially being paid to stress and rush (except CEOs, they're paid for basically nothing). Many jobs like mining or operating equipment for example, come with a "danger pay" bonus when they do certain tasks. They can of course refuse the task if they don't feel safe, but that bonus wage incentivises some of them to finish that dangerous task.

    Give your employees an appropriate wage, and they will do better work. Common sense that isn't all that common.

    @hanautaBOB and @GloInTheDark and sometimes you have schedules/orders to follow tha you don't like...for this reason the speed get slower, cause you are not happy, don't feel what you are doing is right or have the highest priority. Add that sometimes you want even to talk about it with someone that work with you or your superior...time spent...

    As i said, bugs are bugs. I'm focusing on what they are doing. I will share what i think with the next patch after i see where they focused (bugs, cheaters, exploit, rewards, test feature, players suggestion, new maps/power gems, new mode...).

    As i said the positive change of this season is the reward in leaderboards (awesome design of chracters apart...that need just a look at it to recognize).

    I simply reject the hypothesis that a big company that distributes mainstream games underpay the devs according to market parameters.

    I don't know where I would have said that in my opinion crash devs are rich, but still I don't see why they should be.

    Writing code doesn't mean much: it's not decisive for making the huge profits big games companies got.

    Besides, I suppose you talk about people who are more collaborators than fully involved and I guess those people work on their own, following as many project as they can get.

    Some developers found their own company: how many endless runner games of those will there be on the stores?

    How did they expect to compete with King's massive distribution and a worldwide brand like Crash Bandicoot?

    I don't know, but I know there are thousands of shooter games, some made by good devs.

    Nobody notice them, nobody download them, and nobody play them.

    Because writing code don't make you any Tencent or Call or Duty.

    So it's hard to define what is underpaid. But for sure, the impact on the process to "make money" is not so different from that generated by the kid who cuts and sews leather to make sneakers sold by multi-billion dollar brands.

    I don't think a dev would exchange lifestyle, wage and job with those, even if underpaid.

    The same example about the world of the mainstream music is based on a wrong assumption: you don't make a "hit" from nothing, you do because someone (like streaming services) impose it.

    That's how it works with masses and big mumbers.

    Anyway, music is a different topic and I won't go deeper.
