If u have not, here is the link of the video where I have beaten him. YOU can try tl remember when to throw all barries to hit him before u get to the doors where u will die no matter what (unless u have a gold Aku Aku mask)

Now where does this leads us?
Play for 1.5 minutes and die ---> Watch a 30 sec add ---> watch another 15 sec intro for the boss --> play for another 1.5 minute and die again. In different words spent half of your time without even playing.
Now thats what i call having fun !!!!
In the end i played with him a couple of times and got so much disgusted that i didnt bother to try again. There s a huge difference between creating something challenging and something annoying. Especially when again the level has spots that you cant escape.

6 · Helpful 1Woah! 3Sweet Love 2HahaAgree. Try to remember when to throw ur barry to hit. There are patterns so once u try 2 or 3 times u will see when u can hit and where u can not.
I posted there a youtube link where I have beaten him, try to remember where I throw barries so u can know how to hit him.

However, I'm very disappointed that there still isn't a check to stop the bosses from attacking near the point where the path narrows, even though it's been happening for a whole month or more. Surely this is something that would take a day to fix. It feels like they're purposely not fixing it.
I'm happy with some of the updates that have been added, but they definitely need to understand how bugs should be prioritised in order to keep the players' trust.

What I did was every time I failed, I didn't watch an ad and started the level again, where you can accumulate two masks (it obviously helps to have a mask that gives a double aku aku bonus) and the level is pretty easy and not too long to get to oxide, so having two masks is definitely worth it. Oxide's attacks are no problem to dodge apart from the driving attack. The best way to dodge the driving attack I found was just stay in the middle lane and then just anticipate where he was going, mostly trusted my reaction times to dodge him! If there are steps or a jump iron crate on the left or right lane, I would jump just before oxide charged at you and then move to that lane. Of course hitting him with the Berry is another matter. Very hard to hit him since he charges at you a lot. The best way to hit him that worked for me was throw the Berry whilst you are above ground. There is sometimes another Berry on the top of the steps so throwing 2 from above is possible and from a higher height, it's less likely to rebound off his ground churning attack and projectile attack. He normally charges twice in a row, so wait until he's charged a second or the occasional third time, then throw. Sometimes you just can't avoid his driving attack since dodging might involve falling off so this is why 2 masks are handy. Overall, be patient when you throw, need a little bit of luck to dodge his unavoidable occasional attack and you'll be fine!

1 · Helpful Woah! Sweet Love 1HahaYes, just takes patience and learning his movements and when to throw the berries. There are a couple of opportunities to double throw at the right time.
Biggest help is to jump over the final checkpoint crate before meeting him so that when you restart, you are back one stretch before the final mask crate, and can grab the gold mask over and over again instead of starting from all the way at the beginning. Only way to really stand a chance with him
