What did I do wrong?

A few days ago, I noticed that my trophies were not being included in my team's total. I currently have just over 33k, and my team is 7k behind the 2nd place team. If mine were counted, we would be firmly in 2nd. I submitted a support ticket, and got an email back that said:
"...while I'm sad to hear that you're not having the best experience with Crash: On the Run, we have detected activities that may not follow the rules of the game. We are actively keeping an eye on our players, and we take action to make sure that Crash: On the Run is fair and balanced."
All I do is run around collecting ingredients, then exchange those ingredients for wumpa, and cash in the wumpa and my steps. I don't understand what rule that breaks or what unfair advantage that creates. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is there an appeal process or something??

What’s your longest collection run? You might have gone on a long collection run and collected too many steps and their system might have detected you cheating, or something like that.

2 · 2Helpful Woah! Sweet Love HahaI did go on one really long run once, but I don't remember how many steps. Support won't tell me what rule was broken, and on their second email to me they simply said, "we won't be responding to any more emails about this." That's pretty crummy if you ask me.

And when I asked what rule I broke they said, “We currently can not disclose why this measure was taken, trophies will most likely start counting next season.” So, maybe your trophies will start adding up again when the next season starts.

1 · 1Helpful Woah! Sweet Love HahaIt really stinks though because I have 200/200 power gems. These seasonal contests are pretty much the only thing I have to play for right now. Plus, nowhere in any of the Terms and Conditions does it say anything about rules like that.
@QueenMia , any ideas? There has to be some way to ask for an appeal, someone that I could talk to, right?? How is anyone supposed to know about this stuff if it's not written anywhere?

Seems sketchy why they won't disclose to you what you did wrong so you can fix it in the future. How can we play the game wrong if they won't even tell us the reason for being flagged.
