The game speed is increasing too fast in the first laps and is disturbing the gameplay.
You're not alone on this one. A lot of people have complained about the speed, but nothing has changed. Personally, i like it, i can collect steps and ingredients much faster than regularly. Give it some time, you might actually like it
Yeah, the speed increase caught us off guard. Some of us gradually get faster while others are fast right off the bat. It's going to take some time getting used to, especially in harder levels, but it'll become second nature after awhile.
Plus, it makes you a lot better in survival runs (once they get fixed) since you'll be used to the faster speed. Best bet is to hope they have an option on how fast you go in the beginning of the run in the future.
It seems that no one has noticed that the speed increases only when you pick the wumpas fruits, this is how it works for me (or perhaps not). i reach 2x speed when i collect a maximum of 900 fruits
I think there is something wrong with the gamse, because the speed should increase slowly depending on how your spending the time on the level.
What its really occurring is that after the first lap, the speeed change absurdly, in a way you cant even calculate the jumps, suffering a lot in levels that require timed jumps.
Its been very unpleasant to see an add every 20 seconds after the first lap, seriously...
They must fix this imediately.
Okay, so I'm not the only one who noticed that!
I was playing Upstream and it usually takes 1 full lap (around 2 to 3 minutes) until my speed reaches max, but I went full speed in less than a minute and nearly died because I didn't expect to go Sonic speed that quick.
I don't experience that. In the latest update, i reach full speed at the 3rd lap, for every map
Understandable. I just noticed the change this morning. It didn't help that I was still half asleep lol. It could be one of those changes that appear out of nowhere with no warning for some players. But I know for sure that I'm running faster earlier than before. Not sure why though.
It is good. I hope that I can start a run, gem run, survival run... basically any run with that speed. It saves time 😊
Yes we are running faster than before. It saves time and we collect steps faster. I played 7 maps and i got 50k steps without noticing it.
Yes, but make some levels almost impossible to play for more than 20 seconds without falling. Run is maps like N. Sanity Island is terrible.
You are not the only one with this feature. Its be frustrated for a while now cuz some maps are even broke with the fast speed especially Snow Go. The blue spikes sometimes wont drop until the player die cuz of that. When playing The Great Gate and Upstream, you cant even land on that Iron Arrow Crate (Metal Jumps) properly and just immediately die cuz u cant land on it even if you are laggy. Sometimes when you want to scroll down, sometimes it just immediately lets u up and die. And when i watch a few people's video, i dont know how they didnt got the fast speed and just got the normal speed.
Dude u do not know how to play then. U have not even mastered when and where to jump. Also, if ur game is laggy...buy better phone since 2GB or ram is low for the game to work normaly. I have 6GB of ram and I do not have any problems at all.
I do not have those problems at all. I mastered the maps since I play from the 1st day.
I used to hate Cortex's lab because of this. Now it's one of my favourite maps. Give it some time to get used to it. Going slow is good at the beginning, but after a while you'll want to go fast because it gets boring
That is completely unnecessary man. Phone shaming is bullying 'dude'. CotR is a global game and in some parts of the world a 2Gb RAM phone can cost a year's salary. The same is true of data speeds in some countries creating a laggy look on the super speed collection runs. Upstream is nearly unplayable .
