Vendor apparently Bugged

Well, since the 20th of August my Vendor doesn't offer me skins anymore.

I usually wouldn't think much of it since we got 7 new skins on the 18th and I had enough Crystals to buy them out on the first 2 days.

However the last 2 or 3 days reports of new skins pop up left and right and I still get 0 in my Vendor.

I see other players sharing their Vendor offers with Tons of Skins I still miss, but still, I got no skins in my Vendor.

All slots filled with Materials and Weapons for over a week now.

Please, I don't want to be left out and seeing this day after day is really frustrating...

    Do you have the "Old" Layout? πŸ€” (tapping islands to do CRs or pick challenges, Online Tab, Vendor Machine and Island Selection are 3 little buttons below)

    If I reinstall the game, I got the "New Layout" for as long as I didn't close the App after re-connecting with my account...

    My guess: New Accounts get connected with Server that has the new UI enabled. When "loading" my game I get to stay on the server with the new UI enabled there the Vendor works properly.

    After closing my game, my Player ID gets checked and I get connected with my "usual server", who still uses the old UI and has an issue with showing the skins (there are always only items and weapons for me).

    So, i can't tell if your issue is similar (just sitting on a server that for some reason is showing only 1 Skin per day) or if a re-install could potentially fix your issue for good.

    Just be sure to have made an in-game account and remember the email and password you used. If you don't do that, you won't be able to keep your progress (Unlocked Skins, Collected Power Gems, Crystals, Weapons, Materials, Trophies, Items in Production, Wumpa, Best Times for Relics...) only if you can reconnect with your account you can try reinstalling.

    Otherwise you would have to start over from scratch.😡

    Nevermind the UI.

    Today I was having the old UI after reinstalling and still had stuff in the Vendor

    Then I tried to watch the ad for the 5 Crystals, but the game just closed instead of loading the ad.

    So, I opened the game again, and no surprises here, only ingredients and weapons.

    So yeah, I hope that this gets fixed soon, I'm getting tired of Uninstalling and Reinstalling just to have 1 limited chance to see if there are any skins I want. And tbh, I am a little bit scared something might go wrong if I use this "workaround" to unlock skins πŸ˜“

    I think the real question should be if she has any words from the Devs about ANY problem. The game has more bugs than features.

    Well, in the Grand Scheme of things, yes, getting more infos about issues that are planned to get fixed would be neat.

    But atm, the stuff with the UI and the way everyone's Vendor is acting different (No Skins at all/less than 4 slots/working properly), I'd like to get an answer to this mess first.

    It seems that multiple players have issues with their vending machines. Some get new skins every day while others don't, and reinstalling/restarting the game lets the machine go even crazier. I'm pretty sure that this is not intended behavior and thus I'll forward this issue to our team.

    Oh well, it's even worse than I thought...

    Before I had 1.100.50, reinstalls could bypass the vendor not offering skins... Even if it wasn't permanent, I could go into the Vendor, look at the skins and buy them without issues, at least until closing the app.

    Not optimal, but better than nothing.

    Now, even the bypass won't work, so I'm stuck with 0 Skins per day for good now.

    Let's just hope the devs will find a solution soon πŸ˜”

    I don't even get items for sale in the vending machine anymore, and at most one skin per day. I've gotten a purple crystal subscription before, and would consider getting another one if I could actually use them for anything...this bug is pretty lame.

    I'd suggest to really think hard before spending money in this game.

    Singular Skin offers are way overpriced, absolutely not worth what they are asking.

    BP seems like a good deal, but I'd say don't buy it unless you reached the final tier...

    Last season there were issues and a lot of people couldn't get their Rewards shortly before the season ended and if you buy it and can't reach the final tier, it's hardly worth it.

    If this wasn't enough they can fiddle around with the game, "Testing Features" which usually results in making the game harder for the players...

    Just, remember that before making any purchases.

    You can't tell how long the game will hold your interest or if they change something about it so you will just quit, so Subscriptions can be tricky as well.

    I have heard a bunch of players utter their regret for getting the Subscription for 30 Days, just for some features ruining their game experience and them leaving without really getting to use those Crystals...

    Just something to consider before you hand money to King, be sure you won't regret it.

    @hanautaBOB Thanks for the warning. I'm generally pretty frugal about spending money on the game, but occasionally splurge a little. So far King hasn't done anything to turn me off of the game, but I guess we'll see. So far it's a game I'm having a good amount of fun with, so I don't mind throwing them a few bucks here and there.

    48 hours have passed and i haven't got my rewards from the vending machine. I guess this is a new feature that the very hard working devs decided to put in the game

    Might be... Just call the irregular behavior a "Feature" and lean back, because now you don't need to fix it ASAP.

    Season 6 has been going for a while now and I haven't heard anyone find a single of those Halloween Themed Skins in the VM so far (even if they do get 4 Daily Skins), so maybe they only add skins as seasonal rewards or MTX offer, so that's why they don't care about all the different issues the VM has.

    After all, there is no guarantee you weren't just saving up free Crystals to unlock skins if they are in the VM, so even if buying skin offers makes them less Money than people stocking up on Crystals,but since people can patiently save up Crystals, the VM does not guarantee them Money.

    Less Money than Crystal Purchases is still better than literally nothing, so for them it's the "lesser Evil".

    If that makes sense or not isn't really a question anymore, since many decisions seem random and illogical...

    So what difference would one more weird choice make?
