Update on Seasons and Team Tournaments

Dear Crash: On The Run Community,

We have always been open with our Crash on The Run community because we are Crash fans too and we love this game and want to build the best Crash experience for our players.

As we move towards 2022 we want to spend even more of our time and effort building improvements and new features for all our players to enjoy. We have lots of great ideas on how we can improve the Crash On The Run experience and can’t wait to share them with you. To do this we have made the tough decision of temporarily pausing Seasons to shift our team’s time from Seasons to those improvements and features for the long term. Mr Crumb’s Halloween Season will be the last for a while, but we look forward to bringing you lots of new features and content to make 2022 Crashier than ever.

In the meanwhile, we will continue with Team Tournaments for you to keep getting awesome rewards. You can read more about that HERE, in this FAQ Article.

As ever, we wouldn’t be here without the community and we’ll keep you updated here and other Crash On the Run! Channels.

I'm hoping this is not a lie to cease development of the game because it isn't bringing enough money to King and its parent company.

I'm also wondering if those making art assets (3D models and textures) are also the ones who can fix/improve the game at its core. If making one single boss each month is too much work for the team to be able to do anything else, shouldn't King simply hire/assign more developers to work on the game?

The first one already started, but you need the 1.140 update to see it. You can start getting trophies before you get the update though, they will count for the current tournament.
