One possible reason why we didn’t have a chat feature is that in older versions there were levels that were timed. Say finish the board with a certain score in say 60,000 in a time of 1 minute and 30 seconds. If chat was around it would have distracted the player from completing the task if chat popped up at that time

After a while it did pop up on the newer version. It only lasted 24 hours. I got it within the first 5 hours. Thanks for the help.
