I think it's part of the reduction system. The game probably reduces the number of candies you have collected at the end of the game.

Remember that timed rewards are part of the challenge and fun. But at the time of timed rewards it's helpful at the time it is awarded to the player. It may have limit of use but gets the game faster and efficient. So I don't see any negatives of the timed booster.

I guess it is part of the fun and challenge. It helps you improve your resourceful skills. You can used timed sugar drops to help you in the game. It lasts long but there is always a time limit which is part of the challenge.

I guess it should appear in the hard or nightmarish levels. But maybe it is for fun and too challenge you that you get timed boosters at the wrong place at the wrong time. The game would be too easy if we had the exact place we wanted the timed boosters to appear.

I agree. I don't think it would be easy for this to be achieved.
