Level 574 blank tiles not working

Why don't blank tiles work in level 574?  I assume this is a bug? Does it continue on to other levels?

On this level (where you have the guess the letter), the blank tile doesn't always give you the letter you want to use as it might not be one of the missing ones that you have to guess.

you may be experiencing something else
find-the-letters has had a new feature for awhile
... the blank gold tiles are easier to use on find-the-letters levels
... the blank gold tiles act as a filler when making a word - and are not part of the word
