Wondering if my log-in is corrupt on Alphabetty Saga

I'm logged into Alphabetty on my IOS device and suddenly my top friends that display on each level have disappeared. I'm the only user listed on the sidebar. I still have friends in the send lives option, but not on the levels (I have certain people I'm trying to beat scores with and now I can't). Puzzlingly, when I try to log into the King website here, it tells me my email is not associated with an account (but that's how I log in on my IOS device). I created a new account here with a different email address to be able to post this question. Any suggestions on how to get my friends back? thanks.

Hello @Jshock ,

1st - Please try with force closing (iPhone/ iPad) or the app. Then restart your device and open the game and you should be able to get back and play.

2nd - Here is of handy guide on how to keep your apps updated on iOS. First log out of your game and turn off your device. Leave it off for at least 10 seconds before turning it back on.

Thanks for the speedy response, Glenn. I did both actions (force quit and restarted my device, then secondly, logged out, powered down device for 10+ sec and logged back in).

I still, however, have the same issue. I have friends that show up in the give a life section, but no Top Friends on the levels.

Hi @Jshock , sorry you are having that issue.

Try this please - clear the cache and restart your device, then try logging back in and see if this resolves your issue

Make sure you have a strong internet connection.

While you are doing that I will check to see if others are having these issues

Glenn, clear cache typically is in relation to web browsers. Are you suggesting I clear my Safari web browser cache on my iPad to address this issue on an app from the app store, or are you referring to something else?

I cleared the cache and have the same issue. One more item I failed to mention is that the top friends still show up on the level screens before they stopped appearing. Level 563 has top friends, every level I've completed after 563 does not show Top Friends.

👑 the friends list has old issues ... and current issues 👑  

🍮 here are some observations on the current issues(sorry ... no solutions) 🍮  

• the players' icons are missing from the map
• as @Jshock noted ... not every level shows Top Friends
• one friend reported a new score on Monday Dec 21st and I still see the old score today(Wed Dec 23rd)
• @juanmarcelo posted this on Dec 18th "Unfortunately for ANDROID even though the game starts it doesn't work correctly. He has problems with scores the same as before. and by IOS they tell me that the same thing happens." ... am not sure if it is still happening

... 💡as mentioned by @Glenn1972 a poor internet connection can cause problems 💡

... 💡example ... my login was taking over 2 minutes to complete ... "My Account" was showing for over 2 minutes instead of my name ... it has been working normally since resetting the wireless router 💡
