Looking at your screenshot, you need to select the game first, select Play Now and sign in if you're not already logged in. After this, you should see the option to add friends.

I'm sorry but I think this option os only available on PC so you have to go to King.com.

It can take some time before the servers gets updated... You can try disconnecting the game from your King account, close the game app, open it and connect it back. But give this some time 😉
