Level 830 - Companions replacing required items such as Clams! REPORTED TO THE STUDIO!

I cannot seem to get an answer to my question. In level 830 in Farm Hero’s Saga, you are given 20 clams to open. During the game, some of the clams get replaced with apples. You can go through the whole level and not one of the replaced clams shows up so that you can complete the level. This is most certainly an error in the game. Why is it so hard to get this addressed? Or am I missing something?

I play Farm Heroes Saga on two Android devices. They are both updated to version 5.31.8 I have previously completed the level with three stars. I just tried it again and you are correct. Even when all of the clams have been opened, no more clams fall down. So until the bug is fixed, the only way you will be able to complete the level is to turn off your companion.

So I am calling this a genuine bug and I will tag @QueenB to report this problem to the studio.

You are right @Rancid, there is infact a bug where the companions are replacing Claims and on some levels, the firecracker as well.

What you have suggested to @ChristinaRas is the perfect workaround and yes, the studio is already aware of this and working on a fix 😉

Thank you Rancid and Chicken_Slayer for your feedback on level 830. I did not know that you could turn off your companions. Seems a bit counterintuitive in the big picture. I hope the glitch gets fixed. Cheers my friends!

@ChristinaRas I will be honest. I rarely ever use my companions. I don't often find them useful and can sometimes be a hinderence. :)

Sometimes the default 1st companion that it choose is not suitable for the lvl ...

so do take a look at other companion abilities when u retry the lvl.

Some levels @stan1981 also require, say for example 20 onions to activate, but you only have to collect 6 and get no more. They are on the list of lower priorities to change. Did you also know that the board sometimes sets itself out differently depending on if you use them or not. I have noticed that many times. I also remember time before they were added.

I sometimes find them useful. but always try to complete without. Because you can guarentee they always throw things right where you are about to make a different match..

As I have quite a good amount of beans, 300k+, so usually I will still go with the default 1st companion at 90 beans usually...

but if retry, I will then take a look at the companion ability to choose a better companion

Hi @stan1981

Apparently King games insist that all levels can be completed without the use of boosters. So clearly there are those who will not rest until they achieve it. So without doubt, there are some who also choose not to use companions as well. So 250 beans at almost 3000 levels, well thats a lot of beans. Plus the ones you win from time to time.
