The game won’t slow me to enter contests. Every time I try, the figure comes on the screen telling me to rotate my device, which doesn’t make a difference. Help please!

I use iPad Pro.

I cleared the cache and rebooted. I thought I needed to get an updated version so, being technology challenged☹️, I deleted the jelly saga app and lost my progress when I downloaded the app again.

Please help!
