Can PC users still share lives with mobile users?

I play on PC and many of my friends have switched to playing on mobile. Are we still allowed to send things to each other? I used to get lives constantly & the beans upon return but now I get nothing.
It's making the game way more difficult and kind of boring. If I could switch to mobile I would but I have to play on PC.
Any information is welcome.

are you playing via Facebook directly or through the windows 10 app?
It may be that its related to this issue here regardless of which device you play on though, if your friends are connected to Facebook then they would normally show up and be able to exchange lives.
I use the windows 10 app, I don't use mobile very often, I prefer the bigger screen ๐

My computer is older. It uses Windows 7, and yes I use it directly through Facebook. Is this why I do not have the latest updates? Because of Windows 7? Is there a different place to play other thann Facebook where I can have the latest updates using Windows 7? Thanks for answering

No @KissesXOXO its not because you have windows 7. The only difference is you won't get events come up on Facebook. At least right now.
I am having the same issue, but it is related to Facebook. The trouble is King cannot make Facebook move quicker and its becoming apparent that Facebook like the revenue gamers bring. But don't actually like having games on there. Every update it gets harder. My own personal opinion.
I play daily and send multiple times most days and still get very few lives. I get so many beans but nothing like I used to. It seems as though Facebook is capping requests lower and lower each time.

Yes, I see you on there now. This is great. Thank you. I guess I need to get more active players. Maybe the friends that shows are playing are no longer playing actively. I would still like the updated features but now knowing I can have help again is very reassuring. Much appreciated.

apparently I am limited to one life per device ... sent one from the tablet ... a total of 2 lives were sent today
