Sorry but may I ask you to wait until the Farm Studio will fix the issue for all the players, if you check the previous comment some players have solved the problem.
When we gave some tips to the problem, we just suggested to reboot the device and not to uninstall the app, if you have bought boosters may you try to contact the help center from your device in the settings area, you can explain what happened.

FYI, I didn't do anything to fix or solve the lost connection issue. I decided to wait it out after losing booster and free lives from uninstalling/reinstalling, so it would be nice if they shared the cause and solution but my prior experience working with IT support on problems is that they don't provide the details.
The trouble is....until a lot of players start reporting it then that is general troubleshooting and is advised with every game you have issues with no matter which company. If it's a small number it is likely just the device. When it gets to be more wide spread then the studio investigate as it's clearly an issue.
See there is a fine line between having an issue and some players who have issues that could be fixed with general troubleshooting but who either don't know how to do it or just won't try. So it helps when you do try it and give as much information as you can for the studio.
You could try emailing support. They dont generally replace boosters when they are free because they cannot be tracked the same as paid boosters. I suspect at one time a lot tried to take advantage π¬
Thank you @Lady_Choo. I emailed support early on when the issue began and was referred to check the Community where I read that the unistall/reinstall was an option to correct. What's done is done...I can rebuild boosters but will never get the free lives back because I'm no longer on FB. Having had 241 saved, guess you could say that I hoarded them, lol. It's all good but the initial response I received was frustrating because it appeared to be an auto standard generic reply, and I didn't receive a response when I replied with additional information. I work closely with IT in my job and completely understand that technical bugs and issues occur but also relate from the user's point as well.
