why wont my game load i remain on home screen

For past 2 days have tried to loading Farm Heroes Saga plus other games on laptop.All I am getting is a blank screen with Farm Heroes on it. Have tried reloading but nothing happens. Also emptied cache

Ì'm sorry about your problem with the game loading.
There is another thread with players with tbe same issue, may you please check here: game not loading
The King Studio knows that there is loading issue with the King.com page for all the King games.
They are working for fix it! We will advise you when the issue is solved

I downloaded the games from the microsoft store now and everything is working fine there. Even the friendslist is back and I can accept lifes from my friends. Hopefully it doesn´t stop working there as well. Would be more than frustrating.

To DianeWalters: Tried that, but unfortunately, it didn't help for me. I did find a workaround though (below).
To all: I just figured out something strange. If I go directly to the King.com website, and try to access the games from there, I still have the same issue I originally posted - the games will not load from there. BUT, I went to the Royal games website (affiliated with King), and there are banners for the King games at the top of the page. I clicked on one of the banners to test, loaded the game from there, and it works. It doesn't make any sense that it would work from there, as once you click a banner, it connects to the King.com website/platform, but for whatever reason, it does work.
