@stingynina it sounds like you are not logged in properly. Have you tried logging out. Closing the game completely from the background then re-opening it and logging back in?

I'm having the same issue. I checked permissions and they are fine. I've tried different platforms. I cleared cache completely and friends showed up for 2 days then disappeared again. Nothing works.

Yes, I've done it all. When I send lives, they are to people I've never heard of before. Not my Facebook friends that play. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared...done everything. I had over 100K beans before this change. After, I had 10. Ten. I don't like this at all. I'm ready to throw the towel in and find another game to play.

These are other people who are also playing the game and you can choose to interact as much or as little with them as you please.
It is completely anonymous and no personal details or information are shared between players. All anyone else will see of you is your avatar and nickname, both of which can be personalized.
Even if you are Facebook connected you will still be connected to the Kingdom and so will see a mix of other players' avatars alongside your Facebook friends profile pictures.
This means there are always other players on your game map and friends available to give a helping help when needed!
