Despite that all other events are repeating, the Spring Jelly Queen one isn't.

Unfortunately, the extra data seems to count as "cache" by the device. I have seen another app which uses cache folder to store extra data files, such that it has to be running during charging in order to "lock" the extra data from being cleared.

Yes, this event may be harder than the ongoing Hazelnut Crunch event which is also hard as s***. For these 2 weeks, there are too many levels where the only valid solution is to mix a color bomb with coloring candy.

Here we are again. All events blow up after game update, even after it tries to get data at 10MB/s.

...Which also means I have to stop the progress and only deal with the Cookie Cup event before the restart. Being over 7000 means that I am too close to the end of road and may run out of levels to feed the event. Also, we can restart investigating new levels.

I found the update and applied that. I also saw the Yeti event but nothing else. Recalls me the experience in another game where the admins said "problem solved" as soon as the ongoing event ended.

They are not doing anything. My game automatically clears event data upon shutdown, that today it downloaded something big and refused to display that. I assume that the event data are downloaded correctly, but some kind of mask prevents us from accessing.
