Yes! I kept getting this as well, on the iPad when crushing really fast. I then learned to wait for Yeti before tapping on the crown or stars on the screen. Very annoying! I had reboot the app lots of times for this, but at least the level and the blues count.

It supports the VCR theory. I can't look at all the screenshots as they are separate. But it's what I have been observing and trying to work out how it is done.

The next round should be just all players against one another in real time. It's a 24 hour round of fierce and continuous crushing. I can't see any reason to manipulate that.
