Agreed. Also if you have four lives left and you happen to win two more lives that extra life currently disappears into the ether because of the 5-lives limit. Another feature I thought might be interesting to have is a replay function. They have that in one of the other games I play and it's really handy to see how you can improve your game next time and also learn from your opponent's tactics 😉.

As well as all the good ideas above, I suggest you reward people with gold bars during the game instead of after. So a gold bar awarded between the transition from the level with three games to the one with five, two gbs from the one with five games to seven etc. This would make it even more competitive as those gold bars…
